Listed Building, Stamford Grove West, Stamford Hill, London, N16 (Hackney Council)

Project Details

No.3 Stamford Grove West forms one of a pair of semi-detached Victorian villas on a parade of six pairs, in the heart of Stamford Hill, London. Having been neglected and having had many alterations completed unlawfully over the last twenty years, we were appointed to produce detailed planning drawings for an application to the Local Planning Authority seeking listed building consent for the conversion of the premises into x3no. beautiful apartments boasting original and historical features including original cast iron fireplaces, timber sash windows and ornate covings, skirting and window surrounds. Both English Heritage and Conservation were involved in the restoration. This project was very involved and particular attention had to be paid to all original features in order to retain and restore these architectural features. To both the client and our delight, listed building consent was successfully granted.
